The latest software release supports diagnostics of following control modules: ECM, ECMD (ECM Diesel), TCM, ABS, BCM, SRS, IPDM, AV, AFS, 4WAS Front, 4WAS Rear, SEAT, HVAC and EPS over the CAN bus. Aftermarket ECUs like AEM, Haltech, Link or MoTeC are not supported. The Nissan DataScan III software supports factory Nissan ECUs. The software can be used with the VAG COM K+CAN OBDII adaptor. The list is by no means comprehensive and is constantly being updated as new vehicles are tested. The Nissan DataScan III is intended for the latest generation Nissan cars equipped with grey 16 pin OBDII connecter and use Consult III protocol over CAN bus.Ī list of cars that the software has been tested on is located on the Supported Vehicles page.
